Comparative analysis of education environment perception of 1st and 2nd year MBBS students of medical college using Dundee ready education environment measure

Background: The Dundee ready education environment measure (DREEM) inventory is a useful tool to identify the student’s perception of educational at medical colleges. Aims and Objectives: This study aimed evaluate compare 1st 2nd year undergraduate students SBH Government Medical College Dhule, using DREEM inventory. Materials Methods: Eighty-six 92 MBBS participated in this study. questionnaire was given classroom after scheduled routine teaching sessions by teachers. Students were instructed indicate best response for each item questionnaire. Statistical analysis performed Microsoft Excel. Results: mean score student domain comparatively higher than students. Items that have 3.5 or over considered be real positive points. with between 2 3 aspects great concern could improve. less problem areas. overall 141.96 (70.87%). However, there no significant differences Conclusions: assess give clear indication reflects realistic situation colleges can utilized variety situations obtain baseline information.
